Freitag der 14.10.2016. Heute ist mein letzter Tag hier in den Niederlande und ich wollte mich nochmal ganz auf die Rothirsche konzentrieren. Nach den letzten Tagen wusste ich wo ich am besten und am häufigsten die Königinnen und Könige von Hoge Veluwe finden konnte. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, da lag ich schon im Dreck und wartete. Zum Glück mit Erfolg. Schon nach kurzer Zeit betraten die ersten Hirsche die Bühne und ließen sich fotografieren. Sie überquerten auch die Straße und gingen in ein Waldstück. Ich konnte Ihnen eine Weile über die Wanderwege folgen
bis ich auf einem Ast trat, der durchbrach und meine Position verriet. Die weiblichen Tiere verschwanden im Wald und ließen mich zurück. Kurz bevor ich gehen wollte hörte ich ein Knacken rechts von mir. Der König trat ins Rampenlicht und würdigte mir keines Blickes. Ich lag auf dem Weg und beobachtete wie der große Hirsch davon ging, ich wartete dass er sich zu mir umdrehte - doch nichts. Er ging ohne sich umzuschauen davon und verschwand bei seinem weiblichen Artgenossen.
Jetzt war es auch an der Zeit für mich zu verschwinden, ca. 450km weiter nördlich.
